Hand sculpted porcelain pieces representational of wild fuschias found growing along hedgerows in Kerry and all of rural Ireland. As these pieces are high fired porcelain they are quite robust but retain a very delicate appearance. These are glazed using different combinations of glazes, oxides and stains to give them their vibrant colours. Each piece is hand crafted and therefore can vary slightly in shape and colour from piece to piece. The chains are silver plated and measure 18 inches with and extender chain of aprox. 3 inches so they can be adjusted.

Bud Vase (3) 9cm h

My mug shape is based on practicality and ease of use along with the tactile comfort of warming your hands with a large mug of your favourite beverage. The mug holds approx 400 ml of liquid and measures approx 8cm high by 10.5cm wide. As with all of my pottery, the mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. AS these are handmade items they are all individual and may differ slightly to the pictures displayed.
